Endotronix Ireland Limited, subsidiary of Endotronix, Inc (USA) is a growing clinical phase medtech company dedicated to advancing the treatment of heart failure with proactive data-driven solutions that improve the quality of life for patients and clinicians. Our product platform comprises an intuitive patient management system and an implantable sensor to measure pulmonary artery pressure each day in the home.

The Advanced Research and Development (AR&D) Manager will play a foundational role in growing Endotronix Ireland into a robust, multifunctional center of European operations for Endotronix, focusing on management of Advanced R&D activities, including development of novel breakthrough technologies, collaboration with institutional and commercial research partners, development and execution of new initiatives, and establishment of a cross-functional AR&D team. Other duties will include logistical and technical support for clinical trials and early commercial sales & marketing efforts. The AR&D Manager will report to the Chief Technology Officer.


  • Manage multiple AR&D projects carried out by Endotronix (USA and Ireland) personnel, as well as external institutional and commercial research partners
  • Play a key role in developing and maintaining Endotronix’s long term technological and commercial roadmap and budget
  • Build and lead a robust AR&D team comprised of Endotronix Ireland employees, as well as employees of partner institutions
  • Leverage external funding opportunities by identifying and soliciting relevant R&D grants
  • Help to grow and manage Endotronix’s Intellectual Property strategy and portfolio
  • Support publication and presentation of engineering, scientific and clinical data from Endotronix studies
  • Support product rollout in Ireland and elsewhere in Europe
  • Support pre-clinical and clinical trials in Ireland and elsewhere in Europe
  • Support clinical and commercial operations in Europe, including logistics & supply


  • MS or PhD in BioMedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or related engineering discipline
  • Experience generating project plans, schedules, task assignments and budgets
  • Experience with daily management of projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks as needed to support growth of Endotronix Ireland and European clinical operations


  • Experience with early stage development of cutting-edge medical devices
  • Basic familiarity with microelectronics systems, wireless systems, data processing, and implantable devices
  • Familiarity with clinical trials, including knowledge of basic statistical methods
  • Experience with workflow and culture in an early-mid stage startup environment
  • Familiarity with cardiovascular disease
  • Familiarity with healthcare economics


  • Based in Dublin at our Glasnevin facility
  • May involve travel up to 10-20% of time
