Endotronix, a growing medtech company located in Lisle, IL just outside Chicago, is advancing the treatment of heart failure (HF) with proactive data-driven solutions that improve the quality of life for patients and clinicians. The company’s platform streamlines care for patients with chronic heart failure. It is comprised of an intuitive patient management system and a wireless, implantable sensor to manage HF patients’ pulmonary artery pressure, a leading indicator for early detection of worsening heart failure. The comprehensive solution overcomes inefficiencies in managing these complex patients and extends clinical care into the home.


The Field Service Engineer is responsible for repair, installation, maintenance and calibration of Endotronix equipment at hospitals across the U.S. and Europe. The engineer also supports sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction. Overnight travel is expected 50%-75% of time. The Field Service Engineer supports repair and service activity at Endotronix when not traveling to user sites.


  • Installation, preventative maintenance, repair and software updates of Endotronix equipment located at Hospitals across the US and Europe
  • Work with clinical and sales to schedule hospital visit
  • Support internal return material processes, including device investigations repairs and refurbishment
  • Execute post manufacturing process validation activates as needed
  • Maintains spare part inventory for advance replacements
  • Provide input to service manual procedures and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintains end of useful life management schedules for distributed products
  • Support other operational process as needed

Requirements

  • 2-5 years working in medical device or other regulated industries
  • Background of mechanical, electrical or system engineering
  • Professionalism while dealing with customers
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Prompt feedback and document while in the field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a dynamic and quickly changing environment
  • Comfortable taking on responsibilities as needed
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, Associates Degree required
  • Able to grasp and use electronic systems
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Maintain up to date vaccinations to meet hospital access requirements
